Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain

A year-round family attraction on Wildrose Lane in Big Bear Lake with an alpine (bobsled-style) slide, Mineshaft Coaster, go-karts, Soaring Eagle ride, miniature golf and, in winter, a snow play (tubing) hill; a water slide operates in summer. Alpine Slide rides are $10 single or $45 for five; riders must be at least 36 inches tall and children 36-48 inches ride with an adult 18 or older. Mineshaft Coaster is $20 single ride with a $10 child ticket (38-54 inches and at least 3 years old, with a driver 18+). Mini golf is $9 general, $8 small child. Snow Play sessions are $50 with a $35 Small Child ticket for children 36-42 inches riding with a paying adult 18+; the snow play season is Mid-Nov to Easter and children under 36 inches are not permitted past the Snow Play gate. Posted hours are Mon-Fri 10am-4pm and Sat-Sun 10am-6pm (the slide page notes October 12th 10am-4pm). Parents can relax on a lawn and two sun decks.
