A weekly nature class run by Riverside County Parks at Hidden Valley Nature Center, on 1,500 acres along the Santa Ana River between Riverside and Norco, for young children ages 1 to 7 together with a parent or caregiver. Each class takes a hands-on approach to learning about nature, mixing short hikes with activities, music, arts and crafts and games so little ones and their grown-ups can explore and make discoveries together. Classes are grouped by age, with separate registration forms for ages 1 to 2, 3 to 4 and 5 to 7, and the current session (Session 3 of 2026) runs October through November with a bilingual English/Spanish schedule. Walk-ins are not accepted; register in advance through the online forms linked from the nature center page. Fees and exact class times are in the session schedule PDF, which could not be opened.
