About this adventure
Hesperia Branch Library's Winter Luau on Thursday, December 17, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., gives High Desert families an early-evening holiday party at the library on 7th Avenue. Children can meet Santa in person and write him a letter, play games and make a craft to take home, and the library encourages costumes and festive outfits. Young readers can also earn prizes through the library's checkout incentive, with a reward for every 15 items borrowed, which makes the party a good moment to stock up on winter-break books. The event is listed for families with children of all ages and does not mention a cost or registration.
