The City of Murrieta kicks off the holiday season with its Festival of Wreaths and Tree Lighting at Town Square Park & Amphitheater on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm. The evening brings live music, local vendors, photo opportunities with Santa and a display of holiday wreaths decorated by community members, with the City's annual tree lighting at 6 pm. Families, schools and groups can also reserve a wreath to decorate for the display or sign up as a vendor through the city. Arrive before 6 pm so children can see the lights switch on.
