The touring Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet stops at the McCallum Theatre for two performances on December 16. The production features an international cast with Ukrainian principal dancers in classical European ballet, along with acrobatics, larger-than-life puppets and hand-crafted sets and costumes. The presenters bill it as a family tradition, and the puppets and acrobatics make it a good choice for children seeing a ballet for the first time. Shows are at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.; tickets through McCallum Theatre.
