About this adventure
Peltzer Ice Rink returns for its ninth season as an outdoor ice rink at Peltzer Farm & Winery in Temecula wine country, the family-run farm that also hosts the Peltzer Pumpkin Farm. The 8,400-square-foot rink runs timed skate sessions every day of the season except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, with afternoon and evening sessions on school days and sessions from late morning on weekends, Thanksgiving week and winter break, plus a late session on New Year's Eve. Complimentary gliders help beginners and small children find their feet (first come, first served), and skates and helmets can be rented. Hot cocoa, snacks and food trucks are on site, and picnic benches give families a place to warm up. Sessions are booked online in advance and tend to sell out; tickets are transferable up to 24 hours ahead but not refundable. A parent or guardian must sign the release waiver for every skater under 18. The rink operates rain or shine.
