Silverwood Lake SRA is a reservoir park in the San Bernardino Mountains near Hesperia, with a swimming beach, picnic areas, hiking and biking trails, fishing, boating, geocaching, a campground and a Nature Center open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm. From Oct 1 to Mar 31 the park is open 7 AM-7 PM daily (6 AM-9 PM Apr 1-Sep 30). Day use is $10 per regular vehicle ($9 for seniors 62+), $20 on summer weekends and holidays; boat launch is $10 per vessel. Dogs are not allowed on the beach or in the water. The park page lists Family Programs and an Environmental Learning/Visitor Center among activities but currently shows no upcoming events.
