225,000 square feet of exhibits and restored railroad cars and locomotives illustrating railroad history in California and the West, in the Old Sacramento Waterfront. Docent-guided tours of about 30 minutes on the Transcontinental Railroad are available; check the front desk for that day's schedule. All Aboard for Story Time (ages 2-5) runs Mondays at 11 am, included with admission.
