- Sacramento Public Library (Arden-Dimick Teen Advisory Board)
Members of the Arden-Dimick Teen Advisory Board design and run a free spooky Haunted Library tour inside the branch on a Friday evening before Halloween. The library welcomes all ages and encourages costumes. Because the tour is built by teens for the community, it suits families with school-age children who enjoy a mild scare, and teens who want to see what the advisory board creates. The event runs from 7:00 to 8:30 pm; no registration is listed in the library calendar. Parents of younger children may want to preview the rooms or go early in the evening.
