Downtown Sacramento Partnership's outdoor Halloween movie series in Old Sacramento State Historic Park, every Thursday and Friday in October. Movies are projected on a large screen with provided headphones; themed vendors, popcorn and pizza; blankets or VIP seating with three ticket levels. Remaining 2026 lineup in the window: Oct. 15 and 16 Hocus Pocus, Oct. 22 Halloweentown, Oct. 23 Knives Out, Oct. 29 The Nightmare Before Christmas, Oct. 30 A Quiet Place. Costume contest Oct. 29 and 30 (arrive in costume 6-6:50 PM); costume swap and photoshoot at Glow Studios Oct. 16, 5-8 PM. Check-in opens at 6:00 PM and movies start at 7:00 PM.
