The Alma Gitana Dance Company performs traditional flamenco dances at Collins Garden Branch Library on North Park, as part of the library's Hispanic Heritage Month programming. The one-hour show starts at 2 pm on a Saturday and is listed for all ages, so children can watch the footwork, costumes and music of the art form up close with their families. It is a performance rather than a class, a good introduction to live dance for kids who have not seen flamenco before.
