A festive bird program for the whole family at Guadalupe River State Park. Rangers introduce the birds that spend the winter in the park and explain their winter habits, then children help make holiday treats for the birds. It meets at the amphitheater behind the Discovery Center from 10 to 11 am on the Saturday before Christmas; bring the family and your curiosity. The program is free with park admission ($7 adults, children 12 and under free) and may be canceled in inclement weather. Day passes for the park can be reserved ahead online.
