Guadalupe River State Park marks National Christmas Card Day early with a family craft hour at the amphitheater behind the Discovery Center. Rangers set up supplies so children and parents can design personalized holiday cards to send to friends and family, with the Hill Country park as the backdrop. The park's only ask is that families bring their creativity. The program runs from 10 to 11 am on Saturday and is free with park entry: adults pay $7 and children 12 and under get in free. Programs can be canceled in bad weather.
