New Braunfels' official kickoff to the holiday season on Main Plaza downtown. Thousands of lights are switched on across downtown, and Santa makes his arrival in New Braunfels. Families can take their own free photos with Santa in front of a special backdrop made for the event — bring a phone or camera — and browse the small Holiday Haus vendor market of holiday treats and gifts. It runs 6–9 pm on Friday, November 20. A free shuttle runs from 5:30 to 9:30 pm between City Hall (550 Landa Street) and West Mill Street, which saves hunting for downtown parking with little ones.
