Schaefer Branch Library sets up an outdoor loose-parts play session for children 0 to 5 years old and their families. Kids should wear play clothes: materials include a wide variety of loose parts and may be messy. It goes ahead rain or shine, and families can drop in any time between 10 am and noon on Saturday morning. The session is free and needs no registration, an easy weekend option for toddlers who need to move.
