Fischer Park in New Braunfels celebrates the monarch butterfly, the state insect of Texas, with a free fall festival of games, crafts, exhibits and activities. Families learn about the monarch's multi-generation migration between Canada and Mexico and what they can do in their own backyards to help the butterflies survive, with entertainment at the park amphitheater. KultureCity sensory inclusive bags can be checked out at the Nature Education Center. It runs 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday, October 24. Free park-and-ride shuttles run from Memorial Elementary (1911 S Walnut Ave) from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm.
