About this adventure
Throughout November 2026, San Antonio Zoo honors active-duty, retired and veteran members of the military, National Guard and reserves with free admission during regular operating hours, and up to four immediate family members can buy admission at half the full price on the same visit. It is a good month for military families to spend a day at the zoo on Brackenridge Park's north edge: the zoo's animal habitats, Kiddie Park rides and play areas are all open, and the Zoo Lights holiday trail begins in mid-November (a separate special event that this offer does not cover). Tickets are bought through the zoo's online store, and the military member must show a valid military ID at the front gate; dependents must also show ID. The offer cannot be combined with other discounts, special events or experiences.
