San Antonio Aquarium on Bandera Road in northwest San Antonio offers hands-on animal encounters: guests can snorkel with stingrays, meet sloths and lemurs, and explore thousands of species. Outside food is not allowed inside but can be eaten in the parking-lot picnic area. All encounters are first come, first served. Anyone under 18 is recommended to visit with an adult.
