Encinitas Holiday Street Fair 2026

The Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association has run this one-day holiday street fair on the Sunday before Thanksgiving since 1984. Six blocks of Coast Highway 101 in old Encinitas, two blocks from the beach, close to traffic and fill with more than 450 food, arts-and-crafts and gift vendors, four entertainment stages and children's rides. The Community Stage features local youth groups such as YMCA dancers, a youth arts academy, a music academy and a drum school, and the beer garden is described as kid- and dog-friendly. Entry to the street fair is free; rides, food and shopping are paid at each booth. It works for families with children of any age who can handle a crowd; strollers are common but streets get busy by midday, so arriving early is easier. Bike valets are offered, and the organizer suggests parking at Encinitas City Hall on Vulcan Avenue, the Moonlight Beach lot or the Encinitas Coaster station lots.
