A three-hour Saturday-morning coding workshop at the Escondido Public Library for kids ages 9–12. Participants learn beginner Python—print statements, variables and if/else statements—through hands-on coding on their own laptops, team up for a 'be the robot' game and finish by driving 'Baby Bot,' a small robot. Registration is enabled for this event, so sign up in advance; bring a charged laptop.
