About this adventure
The Lawrence Family JCC runs two four-day weeks of winter-break day camp for children from transitional kindergarten through sixth grade on its La Jolla campus: December 21–24 and December 28–31 (no camp on Christmas Day or New Year's Day). The winter sessions are specialty camps, each with its own theme and focus so campers can dig into an interest or try something new; the JCC says the specific themes are coming soon. Camp runs 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, with extended care from 7:30 to 9:00 am and 3:30 to 5:30 pm for an hourly fee, except that there is no afternoon care on December 24 and 31. Younger campers must be enrolled in a TK program and be potty trained. Registration is by the week through the JCC's online cart.
