The Unity Council's 31st annual Oakland Día de los Muertos Festival takes place Sunday, November 1, 2026 from 10 AM to 5 PM in Fruitvale Village, Oakland. The free outdoor festival draws nearly 100,000 people each year and features community altar installations honoring loved ones, world-class live music, traditional Latin American artisans and a marketplace, family-friendly games, rides and activities, and a 34-foot Monumental Catrina handcrafted in Mexico City. The 2026 theme is 'La Lucha Continúa: Aquí Estamos y no Nos Vamos'. The organizer's page lists the location only as Fruitvale Village; no street address is printed.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation

No festival street address is printed; the Unity Council's own address (1900 Fruitvale Avenue, Oakland, CA 94601) appears only in the newsletter signup text. The only email printed is a sponsorship contact (development@unitycouncil.org), so email is left blank. DiaOakland.com was not opened.
