A Halloween-themed open house at the Sunol Wilderness Visitor Center on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 1:00 PM: taste bat-pollinated foods, play games, go on a scavenger hunt, meet live animal ambassadors and join a nocturnal-themed story time. Costumes encouraged. Family friendly; children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Bring warm layers, drinking water and an optional mug for hot chocolate or apple cider. Drop-in, no registration. $5 parking fee on weekends.
