About this adventure
After the Fantasy of Lights walk-through nights, the volunteer-run Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad runs its decorated Holiday Night Train from Oak Meadow Park through the holiday lights along its route into Vasona Park, and the W.E. "Bill" Mason Carousel spins in the evening too. Some Vasona displays built for the county's walk-through nights are not lit during the train runs, so expect a shorter light show from the train. Tickets are sold only at the railroad's booth on the night (no reservations): train $10, carousel $6, or a $15 combo, with children 2 and under free with a paid adult. The snack shack serves sweets and hot drinks from 6 to 8 p.m. Trains do not run in rain; the entrance gate closes at 8:45 p.m. This is a fundraiser for the railroad, so regular day tickets are not accepted.
