About this adventure
A not-too-spooky Halloween afternoon for young children at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library downtown. It starts at 4 p.m. with an outdoor show by children's musician Andy Z at the Campus Entrance (bring a blanket or mat to sit on), followed by a costume parade through the first floor with the option to continue past trick-or-treat stations up to the third floor; escalators and elevators are available. Afterward each child can pick a free book and try a Scavenger Haunt in the Children's Room. Costumes are welcome but not required. Best for kids up to about age 10 and their families.
