About this adventure

The Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara is a small nonprofit art museum with free admission to its exhibitions and free parking, which makes it an easy, low-stakes first art museum for young children. Indoors, exhibitions rotate alongside the permanent collection. Outside, the sculpture garden has pieces kids can walk around and talk about, including John Cerney's giant painted Sunflowers for Vincent (2022), Francis Sedgwick's bronze Horse and Rider (1956) and Richard Murphy's The Littlest Cowboy (1982). Many of the museum's community events, such as its holiday art fair, are free too; adults must keep children with them at all times.
