Imagine, design and build your very own cardboard critter! All supplies provided by the library! Using Makedo's safe cardboard construction tools, caregivers and children will work side by side to cut, connect, and bring imaginative creatures to life from everyday cardboard. This hands-on program will give kids the opportunity to practice design and engineering skills and give families the opportunity to build together! We take care of the supplies and the mess; you take care of the imagination. Recommended for ages 6 and above. Under 12 years must have an adult working with them. Registration not required. Space and supplies are limited. First come, first served. Program is drop-in, come for as little or as long as you like! Sponsored by the Friends of the Des Moines Library.
