UW Botanic Gardens' Family Nature Classes let children ages 2-4 and an adult caregiver explore the Washington Park Arboretum together through nature play, stories and hands-on discovery. Classes run Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. with a maximum of 12 children per group. Individual classes are $20 per class for one adult and one child; an additional child is $10 (same adult); one additional adult and siblings under 2 are free. A discount applies when signing up for six or more classes. Registration for the Fall-Winter 2026 season is open; select yourself as the participant and attend with your child.
