The Northwest Railway Museum's Santa train (a tradition since 1969): a 2-hour round-trip excursion from the North Bend Depot to the Railway History Campus, where families have an hour inside the seasonally decorated Train Shed Exhibit Hall to explore exhibits, visit Santa in the restored Chapel Car 5 (each child receives a small gift), tour a Weyerhaeuser caboose, do seasonal children's crafts and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate before riding back to North Bend. Runs Saturdays and Sundays November 28–29, December 5–6, 12–13 and 19–20, 2026, rain or shine. Tickets must be bought online in advance; everyone age 2 and up needs a ticket; arrive no more than 25 minutes before departure; no food or drink on the train; all sales final.
