About this adventure
After a six-year hiatus, the holiday carousel returns to Westlake Park in downtown Seattle for the season, presented by Nordstrom. Children and grown-ups can take a spin from Nov. 27 through Jan. 3. Regular hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; the carousel closes at 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve and is closed on Christmas Day. Rides are by suggested donation of $4 per ride, which goes back to supporting downtown parks; if a donation isn't possible, riders can tell the attendant and hop on. Parents riding with children under 12 ride for free.
