One of the county's largest regional parks, built around a 700-acre reservoir used for canoeing, boating and fishing. A 3-mile trail passes through pine flatwoods and hardwood hammocks for hikers, bird watchers and equestrians (bring your own horse). The park also has a disc golf course, beach volleyball court, picnic shelters, a boardwalk, a playground and an observation platform over the reservoir, plus 43 RV/tent campsites. Canoes and kayaks can be rented at the entry station. The boat ramp is closed during a reservoir drawdown, though canoe and kayak access should not be affected.
