Safety Harbor lights its giant Christmas tree at the gazebo in John Wilson Park on Main Street on Friday, December 4, from 6 to 7:30 pm. Choirs warm up the crowd before a visit from Santa Claus, which is arranged by the Safety Harbor Fire Department. The event is free and short enough for toddlers and young children, and it falls on the same weekend as the city's Main Street holiday parade the next morning.
