Santa's Calling: Phone Calls from Santa (City of Largo)

About this adventure

Largo Recreation's Santa's Calling lets parents arrange for Santa himself to phone their child at home on a December evening. Families pick up a request form — available beginning in November at all three Largo recreation facilities and at the Largo Public Library — fill in details about their child, and leave it in the drop box by the December 7 deadline. Santa then makes his calls from the Largo Community Center on Thursday, December 10, between 6 and 8 PM, so keep the phone handy that evening. It suits preschoolers and early elementary kids who still write letters to the North Pole, and it is a gentle option for children who are shy about sitting on Santa's lap at a mall. The city does not list a fee on the event page; call the community center with questions.
