About this adventure
A bilingual Day of the Dead program for elementary-age children at the Kempsville Area Library. Kids learn the holiday's symbols and what they mean through the comics of Raúl the Third, then make decorated skulls (calaveras) to display in the Kempsville youth area, or draw comics to submit to the Bayside Library zine collection. The session lasts about 45 minutes on Halloween morning and is for ages 5 to 11. Registration is required.
