About this adventure
A free day of art for all ages at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art, inspired by its current exhibitions. Families can try hands-on art-making and creative activities, watch live entertainment, meet special guests and shop an outdoor artist market of local makers curated by 23 Beans, with food trucks on site. Community partners, including the Chrysler Museum of Art, First Landing State Park, Norfolk Botanical Garden, Pacific Islanders of Virginia and WHRO, host activity tables. Children can also meet Zara Fina Stasi, an artist in the Made in VA Biennial. The museum plans the day as a sensory-inclusive event. Admission is free, and registering in advance is encouraged.
