About this adventure
For one Saturday afternoon in early December, Town Point Park on the Downtown Norfolk waterfront is decorated for the season around a towering Yule log bonfire. Families can browse a local artisans' market for gifts, sing along with Christmas carolers, sip hot chocolate and visit Santa, all free (whiskey tastings are for adults). It makes an easy holiday outing near the Elizabeth River, and Waterside District restaurants are next door.
