About this adventure
The second annual Kempsville Fall Parade turns young children into float designers and beginning coders. Using craft supplies, kids build small, colorful parade floats on top of KIBO robots, then program the robots with simple coding blocks to roll along a parade route around the library. It is aimed at ages 3 to 7 with a caregiver and needs registration. Because the class starts before the library opens, staff let families in between 9:20 and 9:30 am, and latecomers are not admitted.
