Adventure Seekers is a guided day trip for children ages eight to twelve run by Mount Rainier Nature Center. On Saturday, November 7 the group travels to the C&O Canal for a day of fall color, outdoor exploration and discovery, meeting at the nature center for the 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. trip. Transportation is provided by M-NCPPC minibus. Participants should bring a packed lunch and a reusable water bottle and wear closed-toe shoes. The series aims to build confidence, curiosity and friendships while children discover natural and cultural sites around the D.C. region.
