Always Becoming: Next Chapter is a free daylong celebration on Saturday, November 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington. It looks back on two decades of Always Becoming, the museum's ephemeral outdoor sculpture family created by artist Nora Naranjo Morse (Santa Clara Pueblo), and ahead to its future. The day opens outdoors with a welcome ceremony at 10:30. Families can make their own clay pinch pots with museum educators (11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.) and visit a Cultural Connections cart in the Potomac Atrium, and the Zuni Olla Maidens, a dance troupe from Zuni Pueblo known for dancing while balancing pottery on their heads, perform at 11:15 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The imagiNATIONS Activity Center holds a story time at 11:15 featuring a picture book about potter Maria Martinez. Talks cover caring for the sculptures, native landscaping and the artist's reflections; ASL interpretation and captioning are provided for several sessions, and parts of the day stream online.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Read from the Smithsonian's own Trumba events feed (si.edu events calendar), which lists each session as its own entry. The Smithsonian feed does not print this museum's street address and no address page could be read (npg.si.edu/visit returned 403), so only 'Washington, DC' is given. Separate from the already-listed NMAI Veterans Day, Bison Celebration and Native American Heritage Day events.
