Arlington County Parks and Recreation hosts the Pumpkin Walk, an evening stroll along a trail of creatively carved and decorated pumpkins at Lubber Run Community Center and park. Along the way families find spooky attractions and Halloween-themed crafts, and there is popcorn and an outdoor movie. Costumes are welcome. The walk starts at the pedestrian bridge near the 3rd St. N. entrance (a steep hill), and the county posts a map showing trail exits, paved stroller- and wheelchair-friendly sections and restrooms. The community center garage is reserved for vehicles with accessible placards; others should walk from Ballston Metro (about 20 minutes), take a bus, or use limited nearby parking. The event is free; the county asks people to RSVP.
