Mount Moriah Church on Brockett Road hosts a Fall Festival Trunk or Treat on Halloween evening and invites families from across the community. Kids collect candy and treats from decorated car trunks, play games and watch live entertainment that includes cheerleading and a performance by the Tucker High School Band and Drumline. Because everything happens in one place between 5 and 8 p.m., it suits younger children and families who would rather not walk long distances in costume after dark, and it leaves time to head downtown afterward for the Main Street trick-or-treat that starts at 6 p.m. The church describes the evening as fall fun, family, friends and fellowship. The event appears on the City of Tucker's community calendar.
