About this adventure
Atlantic Station switches on the holiday decorations in The Ellipse Park with a free, two-hour neighborhood evening. Families stroll the lit paths and take photos among the decorations, children can sit down at an arts and crafts table set up for all ages, and a DJ plays seasonal music. Kilwins hands out free hot chocolate to the first 150 guests. The evening doubles as a food drive for Backpack Buddies, which sends weekend meals home with food-insecure children across metro Atlanta, so bring a non-perishable item if you can. A short, easy outing for strollers and small kids that pairs well with dinner in the district; no ticket is needed.
