Lights at Legion 2026–27 — Covington

About this adventure

Lights at Legion turns Covington's Legion Field into a walk-through forest of Christmas trees, each decorated by a local family, business or organization. The display opens with a kickoff on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 6 p.m., with the Covington Mistletoe Market of craft makers, bakers and artisans, food trucks and a chance to visit with Santa. After the kickoff the trees stay lit every night through Sunday, January 3, 2027, so families can stroll the rows at their own pace on any evening of the holidays. The event is free to attend. Trees are outdoors and plugged into weather-protected outlets, so some may be dark right after rain until staff reset them. Families who want to decorate a tree of their own can apply through the city; trees cost $80 and must be decorated December 2–4. The city says it hopes the display becomes a new holiday tradition in Covington.
