Christmas in Carrollton fills Downtown Carrollton on Saturday, December 5, 2026, and ends with the Carrollton Christmas Parade at 5:30 p.m. This year's parade theme is Christmas at the Movies; the route starts on Bradley Street near Minden Avenue, runs north through Adamson Square, continues down Rome Street and finishes at Spring Street by the Neva Lomason Library. Earlier in the day the Merry Market runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. by the Polar Pavilion at East Carrollton Park, where the city invites visitors to shop, skate and snack among gift vendors, local artists and creators. Tuba players from around the area perform traditional carols at Tuba Christmas at the Amp at 2 p.m., and at 4 p.m. kids' craft activities open on Adamson Square under the giant snowflake, with hot chocolate from the Carrollton Police trailer while families wait for the parade. Children can also drop their wish lists in Santa's special mailbox downtown. Parade entrants are not allowed to throw or hand out candy.
