About this adventure

The City of Cumming's annual Christmas Parade rolls through downtown on the evening of the second Saturday in December. The route starts at Forsyth Central High School, follows Tribble Gap Road and Castleberry Road through downtown Cumming and ends at the Cumming Fairgrounds, so families can pick a spot anywhere along the way to watch the parade pass. The fun kicks off at 5 p.m., and road closures for the parade begin at 4:30 p.m., so it pays to arrive and park early. Parking is available in the two downtown parking decks, in the Cumming Fairgrounds lots and at City Hall, and some businesses along the route also allow parade parking. Schools, churches, scouts and other groups that want to march or enter the parade can register with the city through Monday, December 7 at 5 p.m. using the form linked from the event page. Dress children warmly for an evening outdoors.
