About this adventure
The Paulding County Rotary Club's Invitational Dallas Christmas Parade rolls through downtown Dallas on Saturday, December 5, at 11:30 a.m., its 34th year. The parade brings decorated floats, marching bands and, at the end, Santa himself through the historic downtown around the courthouse square. A late-morning daytime parade is easy with small children: no cold night wait, and families can make a morning of it with lunch downtown afterward. Downtown Dallas lists the event as a family tradition and points to the Rotary Club's own parade page for route details and float entries. Arrive early to find a curbside spot along the route and parking near the square. It pairs with the city's tree lighting two weeks earlier on November 21.
