The Southern Museum's year-round Mommy & Me program for children ages 3 to 5 and their caregivers runs on Thursday mornings, with discovery and art tables open from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Short classes at 10, 11 and noon combine story time, a movement activity and hands-on interactives tied to a weekly theme — for example, the October 22, 2026 theme looks at the colourful crops grown in Georgia. The Jolley Education Center also has free-play areas. The program is included with museum admission, free for members, and no registration is needed.
