The Forest Park Branch celebrates Thanksgiving and Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz's birthday on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, 5:30 to 7 p.m., with a full-length Peanuts movie and Charlie Brown's original Thanksgiving menu from the 1973 TV special — popcorn, pretzel sticks, jelly beans and buttered toast. The library bills it for children 6–12, teens and families. Zoe Preparatory Academy, a Forest Park charter school opening in 2028, will offer free Thanksgiving baskets and family prizes or giveaways.
