About this adventure

Turkey Trails is a pre-Thanksgiving race morning from Bodies Race Company on the paths of George Pierce Park in Suwanee, with distances from a children's dash up to a half marathon. Kids 10 and under get their own untimed Kids Dash at 7:55 a.m.; staff meet the children at the start line and walk them out to their starting area, and registered runners receive a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt and a medal made for the dash. Children who don't want the swag may run the dash for free on race day. Older kids can try the untimed 1 Mile or the chip-timed 5K or 10K, which start at 8 a.m. and have a youth price for runners 12 and under; age-group awards begin with a 10-and-under bracket. Every finisher gets a medal, there are free race photos and pie at the finish line, and packet pickup opens on site at 6:30 a.m. The race runs rain or shine, and registrations are non-refundable.
