About this adventure

A Saturday-morning introduction to Spanish for young children at the Lake Travis Community Library's West branch. Teacher Marisol leads an hour of Latin rhythms, songs, movement, games and playful language activities, while introducing families to the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. No Spanish is needed to join in: the songs and games are designed so little ones pick up words by moving and singing along. It suits preschoolers and early-elementary children with a parent or caregiver, and works well for bilingual families too. The session is in the West meeting room, in the outpost behind the library.
